Still Feeling Pumped

This morning I got up and got such an amazing workout. As you can tell from the "B.B" results from yesterday I burned my needed calories, but I didn't get a chance to have much activity. So I woke up pretty early this moring and went straight for my gym (aka.... the garage). Today I decided to do ten minute intervals on my spinning bike and then on my stepper. I really got my heart pumping. I am alos going to take a few breaks from my desk today and walk around the pond. It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, so why not enjoy it a little. Another thing that I have been doing is parking my car at the end of the parking lot so that way I have a little bit more of a hike to get to my desk (=
I feel pretty positive right now. I feel good that I am getting up every day and getting a good workout and that I am eating right. I know it's paying off in some ways since I haven't had a headache in 12 days. (For those who know me well, know how awesome that is).
The only other thing that I really want to get in the habit of doing is geting more water. At the moment that is all I have been drinking, but I am still not drinking enough. Any suggestions or tips on how to get that water intake?

11 Days In

The Cupboards have been Cleaned
In our house we have two pantries, one is where we keep the canned goods and box stuff. The other is where we keep the cereal, chips, and for the most part snack like items. I had asked my husband the other day if we could get rid of some of it because he forgets about it and I don’t want something that could possibly get me off course. My husband doesn’t always take immediate action when conversation like this arises so the stuff stayed.
Well last night I hear this very unfamiliar sound in our house around 10 p.m. At first I thought maybe the baby was awake, but Bill went into his room and he was asleep and the noise had stopped. He got back to bed and the noise started. Bill tried to convince me that it was coming from outside. We had our first cold front last night so he though it could be the breeze hitting something outside. So I tossed a little, had a deep sigh and tried to get comfy again, but this time I hear a door shut within the house. So I am elbowing my husband, the investigator to go do his job (= For several minutes of him looking in the house, turning on lights, checking outside……. Nothing.
We finally fall asleep and this morning I woke up a little later than usual. I still managed to get a pretty good workout and played with the puppies a bit. As I was planning my lunch for the day and preparing breakfast, I got into the snack pantry that also houses our paper towels and trash can. What do I find? Yep you guessed it, we had a visitor last night. From the size of the droppings a pretty large size one at that. He managed to bust open the shelf that had the flour, sugar. Dumped all of the cereal boxes and had a pretty good time doing so from the look of things. It also managed to get into any of the chips, cookies and rice cakes snacks. The only thing it didn’t go for was my can of almonds and oatmeal. So I had a great excuse to get rid of all of the junk food in the house, just wish it didn’t have to take some kind of rodent to poop in my house to do so!

One Weekend Down
Well it's another Monday and I am feeling so great! This weekend went very well. I was able to keep my routine and get up every morning to spin and walk the dogs. In addition I did not have one urge to cheat on my diet. (Even with fresh french fries from McDonalds in the car..... there was a moment that I wanted one, but I resisted the temptation). My husband, Bill had grilled some Salmon on Saturday night. It was my first time ever having it, it really turned out great. We are going to start incorporating more fish into our meal plans.
I'm going on ten days on the diet and I have to admit I am really enjoying my meals. I was worried I would get bored, but I think I becomed more bored with eating fast and not really ever feeling satisfied with the meals.
Also, Bill helped me get all set-up on our crossbow this weekend. I am really excited to be able to have a machine at home, that should help for the days I can't go to the gym.
I am also happy to report when I went to the doctors I was told that I weigh 225lbs..... whew, that made me so happy. I was able to confirm that on my home scale as well. Yipee!!!!!
